Paweł Herder zwycięzcą konkursu fotograficznego

15 kwietnia 2014 roku został podsumowany konkurs fotograficzny „Oko obiektywu na tropie interesujących detali architektonicznych Wschowy i okolic’’, ogłoszony przez Bibliotekę Publiczną Miasta i Gminy Wschowa, w związku z Międzynarodowym Dniem Ochrony Zabytków. Dzień ten przypada 18 kwietnia i  został ustanowiony w 1983 roku przez Międzynarodową Radę Ochrony Zabytków i wpisany przez UNESCO do rejestru ważnych imprez kulturowych o znaczeniu światowym. Celem konkursu było zainteresowanie młodzieży ponadgimnazjalnej architekturą regiony. Spośród 34 nadesłanych fotografii komisja konkursowa wybrała zdjęcie zrobione przez Pawła Herdera, ucznia klasy politechnicznej, który sfotografował muszlę znajdującą się na fasadzie kościoła pw. Św. Stanisława Biskupa i Męczennika we Wschowie. Paweł sfotografował tzw. „muszlę pielgrzyma” oznaczenie szlaku pielgrzymkowego, a dokładniej Drogi św. Jakuba, która zaczyna się w Estonii, kończy zaś w katedrze Santiago del Campostela w Hiszpanii i przebiega przez większość krajów Unii Europejskiej.
